Privacy Policy

This policy covers the GRL mobile app and this website. It describes what we collect, why, where it goes and how to have it removed. It is written to be read rather than to be survived.

What we collect

When you ask for a shipping rate in the app, you type your shipment in your own words. We keep what you tell us:

• Shipment details — origin and destination ports, whether it is a full container or a part load, container size, weight and any related notes.
• Your contact details — the name and phone number you give us so we can come back to you with a price.
• The conversation itself — the messages exchanged, so our team can see the context behind an enquiry.

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect a password. We do not track your location, read your contacts, or use advertising identifiers. The app contains no advertising and no third-party analytics.

Why we collect it

To price your shipment and to reply to you. That is the whole purpose. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for marketing.

Who processes it

Being specific here matters more than the reassurance:

• Anthropic — your messages are sent to Anthropic's Claude service, which is what understands your request and turns it into a priced shipment. Anthropic processes the message to produce a reply and does not use it to train their models.
• Supabase — our database provider, where enquiries and rates are stored.
• Vercel — hosts the service that the app talks to.
• Resend — delivers the email that tells our team a new enquiry has arrived.

These providers act on our instructions. Nobody else receives your information.

Where it is stored, and for how long

Enquiries are held in our database so our team can follow them up and so we have a record of what a customer was quoted. We keep them while they are commercially useful and delete them on request — see below.

WhatsApp and phone

If you contact us through WhatsApp or by phone, that conversation is governed by your own agreement with WhatsApp or your network operator, and by this policy once it reaches us.

This website

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google's servers see the request your browser makes for them. The quote form on the contact page does not submit anything to us — it opens WhatsApp with your details filled in, and nothing is sent until you press send there.

Children

This is a service for businesses arranging freight. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us on WhatsApp or call the number below and say so — you do not need to give a reason, and there is no form.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be noted in the app.
